Luxury Sheets for Less at IKEA

20090308-ikea-sheetsEverybody loves luxury bedding right? Let’s face it though, luxury linens come with a mammoth price tag. Instead of worrying about thread count or Egyptian combed cotton, you can spend about $30 in IKEA’s linen department to outfit your bed. Really, we’re serious.

IKEA’s Dvala sheets hold their own when compared to more expensive brands and defy the sandpaper stereotype associated with lower thread counts. Why? The densely woven cotton is as comfortable as it is durable, and doesn’t even feel like a luxury fake-out. Make sure to get the individual flat and fitted sheets from the Dvala line, not the pre-packaged sets as they are inferior. White works the best, but a variety of colors are available for purchase. Give them a good wash and dry and use a little fabric softener for grins. Whip those babies out of the dryer and on to your bed.

IKEA stores are easy to find in most major metropolitan areas in the US. Too far away? Get them online from www.ikea.com.
